How to use Markdown to YAML for free

  1. Choose a supported tabular file. JSON arrays of row objects and Markdown tables work best for table exports.
  2. Convert and inspect the preview, headers and field values.
  3. Edit text results if needed, validate JSON where offered and download the result.

Check your result

This is tabular conversion, not a lossless transformation of every nested document. Nested values, XML structure and Markdown formatting can change. Compare identifiers and rows. CSV input retains strings such as 001.

Example: For CSV containing invoice,amount and 001,125.00, check that the exported rows preserve both the invoice identifier and amount.
