How to use free AI PDF summaries and questions

Use a short document to find original passages, generate a draft summary or ask focused questions. Free AI requires explicit provider consent and is subject to network and site limits; original passage tools do not require a generative model.

Follow these steps

  1. Upload one PDF, text file or scan within 4 MB, 10 PDF pages and 60,000 extracted characters. Choose the correct recognition language for scans. Keep the original document for comparison.
  2. Original key passages and source search use extracted text without a generative model. For a generated summary or answer, choose the AI mode and confirm the displayed provider and model before consenting to send extracted text and your question.
  3. Free AI is limited to 3 requests per network per UTC day, a shared site budget and availability. Source text must fit 32,000 UTF-8 bytes. Review page references, names and numbers, then correct and export the result. A cited answer can still be wrong.

Example: check a project budget using source references

Upload the four-page practice PDF below. Start with Original key passages or Source search to inspect the text without sending it to a generative model. Compare the extracted headings with the source to check that all four pages were read.

For optional AI, read the displayed provider, model and limits, then give consent if you want extracted text sent to the provider. Ask: What is the planned budget, and which page states it? The source says USD 1,250 on page 3. That is a source fact to check, not a promised model response.

Try a second question that the document cannot answer, such as Who signed the contract? The sample contains no signed contract. Review whether the answer acknowledges missing evidence rather than inventing a name. Correct the draft before exporting and keep the original as the authority.

Try it with a practice file

These small files contain synthetic training content. Download a file, then select it in the tool; downloading does not start a conversion or send text to AI.

Check your result

  • Page references point to passages that actually support the statement.
  • Amounts, dates and conclusions match the original, not just the generated text.
  • Missing information is acknowledged; a fluent answer or citation is not proof of accuracy.

Common questions

Is this a free unlimited Qwen model or API?

No. It is a limited document tool using the configured Bailian/Qwen service. It does not provide a downloadable model or a public free API.

What happens after the free allowance is used?

Generative requests stop when the network allowance, shared site budget or availability limit is reached. Original passage and document export tools remain separate options.

Limits and next steps

Direct tools need no account or payment. The online server accepts up to 4 MB per request and returns individual outputs up to 4 MB. Optional AI has separate limits and requires provider consent.
